Finally I found a diary app that best serves my need: securely sync between web and iPhone app. Id like to write my note on a computer (which I work on it all day long), then read and modify it on my iPhone when Im on the go or when Im in bed. Its faster to type on the computer keyboard than on the iPhone, plus there are more settings on the web site such as formatting or inserting pictures. The only thing that is missing right now on the iPhone app is to view and edit rich formatted entries. I can only create plain text entry on the iPhone. And if I open and modify a rich format entry on the iPhone (which was created on the web site), Ill lose all formatting. I think this feature is very important and it needs to be addressed asap. The iPhone app doesnt have to be exactly full features like the web app (even though its an ideal), but it has to at least let me modify my rich format entries and not losing anything. But over all, this is the best app so far. Keep up the good work guys! P/S: I find the Pro upgrade of $19/year is not expensive at all. Its worth the money.

Why? This used to be a good app, but now the update made it that you have to pay for extra journals? Instead extra journals I had before are smushed as new chapters or entries in the journal, and all the writing is completely wiped except for the title. It is also VERY SLOW. This is not helpful anymore, and because I didnt have a pro account to sync my work, Ive lost writing from almost two years ago, and stories that I put hard work into. Please fix this somehow, as I cant find any better apps anymore, but I dont see why it had to do this.

It got rid of all my work, including the stuff I was working on for school!! You need to do something, Ive been working on some of those pieces for 2 years now! Im extremely mad at this and will not be pleased if my work is gone for good

My entries seemed empty when I updated the app as well, but after signing in online on my computer, I was relived to see they were all there! I deleted and reinstalled the app, and after "syncing" it a couple of times, all my entries returned to normal! If you are having troubles, please try this! Hope it helps

So I finally found an app I can transfer all my notes to so Im deleting this one. When it updated, none of my notes showed up for about a week which made me really upset because I had a lot of stuff on there. Finally they randomly show up, except theres about 15 of each note so it takes a MILLION YEARS to find one note. And it keeps glitching. I do not recommend the update at all.

App is very handy and easy to use. Definitely recommend it to anyone serious about writing.

Was looking for a journal I could access anywhere (pc at work, mac at hone, iPhone on the go) and this allows me to do that. It also has features i can use to make my journal pretty :)

Penzu is a very nice journaling app. You can add in pictures to go along with what you write. I am definitely going to upgrade to the Pro edition, which gives you access to different font types. This is a very well thought out app. I am going to talk it up with all of my friends.

Great easy to use journal app

Just look at all the features from Microsoft Word for instance. Even if half those features are included... then this will be a lot better.

Im a paid subscriber ... sadly! My journals have vanished from the mobile app. Its seriously buggy .. I strongly recommend you look at a different product, this one is trash!

The app is amazing I have over 400 journals written and Ive been using this app for over a year its fantastic. All of my family members use it as well and its a great way to privately trash talk your sibling!!

Its a good app I guess but I cant really do much unless you pay every month or so and thats not fun I mean I basically just use it as a notebook but I wish it has more stuff for the free one

The absolute best way to keep a journal these days!

The mobile version is awfully slow, and crashes often. That might have something to do with how many journals I have saved there, but whenever I try to go and remove some of them in hopes that it will speed things up, the app either crashes or freezes. Im not sure; is this just me?

Journals dont sync from app. Ive lost entries multiple times. And then it randomly creates 40+ blank entries that refuse to delete no matter how hard you try. Ive been a paid subscriber for over 4 years. Im seriously looking at switching companies.
