This app is amazing!!!! Because you can save all your special memories and you can upload pictures so that you can look back on those memories.

I used the free app for a year and recently upgraded to Pro. Its very user friendly and intuitive. I love being able to upload photos into the journal entries. By far my favorite journal app. I would highly recommend it.

Like concept, but slow, very slow. It is not my iPad nor AirMac because others programs work just fine. I will not be renewing when my year of being tormented by this APP.

I am using Penzu on my iPad, MacBook, and iPhone and its easy and works great. I love the reminders to write. The only thing I wish was that when you are deciding between pro and pro+ it would physically show you the difference. Otherwise I am enjoying using it for my journal and New Years resolution.

After using this app like a journal/diary, relying on Penzus assurance that this was a private, password protected journal they exposed the contents of my journal. Today I received an email from them, which anyone in my office could have read, which said: This was what you posted the last time you made an entry...and they proceeded to show the entire PRIVATE entry. Why? They wanted me to upgrade! Instead Im deleting the app altogether, but I wanted to warn you that they have access to and will share your entries without notice or permission. Dont trust them!

Love that it syncs across platforms and I can do it anywhere. The reminders really help getting over the morning speed bump against writing.

This app turned off the passcode protection since I updated to the new version. I always had it set to require a passcode when I opened the app, but today I opened it and I could access all my entries without a passcode!! Besides this lack of basic security (Id rather have the option to set a password, instead of just a code), I was also floored when I received an email with one of my past private entries in it! I was lucky to be alone when checking my email. This is a feature that we should all be asked about rather than Penzu just defaulting to having it on. Who in their right mind would think it appropriate for a journaling app that advertises its security features to be emailing people their private entries without asking??

If youre looking for a simple way to keep an online journal this is it! Its simple to use and secure if you want your secrets locked away.

Good app

Used to love this app because its easier than having to turn on my laptop and open Penzu on there when I had ideas running through my head! But the only negative issue is that not all of my entries pop up on the app version.

I love this app. It is so easy to use and I can access it wherever I can get an Internet connection. It is so easy to stay connected so I can write whenever I feel the urge. I would recommend to anyone looking for an easy way to journal.

I had been contemplating a journal for a long time. I think that capturing thoughts and happenings in a written form adds extra dimensionality to life, and Penzu is the ideal format for me. The mobile client and web client are perfectly in sync and the minimal form factor allows for written expression without feature bloat to annoy or distract from raw journaling.

All I needed for journaling my way out of depression after my divorce! Super easy to use. Love it!

I signed up with Penzu because I could write either from my computer (Windows Operating System) or from my iPad or iPhone. My favorite online journaling app is Day One, but it was only for iOS, but Penzu is a close second and upgrading to Penzu Pro has added some of the features I missed in Day One (like adding photos, etc.) Its easy to use and I like the daily reminder, too.

I have struggled looking for great privacy apps that are cheap and easy to use, and this app is just that!

I really enjoy this app, a lot!

I love the connectivity between all my devices and computers. Design is smooth and clean. Easy to get started writing immediately. Easy access to all entries. I highly recommend it for anyone who wishes to record their thoughts, journal or take note.
