Could you please classify the journal entries by event date? Now it´s by modification date, which is annoying to retrace timeline... Would also be very useful to be able to modify the date when youre writing on the pad.

You can access notes both in web and mobile, but the writing tools are not the same for different platforms. You cant, for example, change color, or highlight bits of text in the mobile, but you can in the browser, which is quite frustrating because I use 90% at the iPhone.

Such a great tool that helps me everyday with personal writing.

Sync function not working at all. Lost all my latest entries. Not worth getting!

Its pathetic you can only use this app when you got a Pro User Account! You should think about changing that!

Ive been using Penzu Pro for a couple of years, on a yearly subscription. The firm sends out very many reminders that the subscription is due for a renewal. When I tried to renew, neither my credit card or PayPal account were recognised, despite both being in regular use as a method of payment. So I sent an email to the Penzu "support". I did not receive an acknowledgment till way past the renewal date. There was no advice, and the email was terse. I persevered - sending more emails to "support" since I could not open my Journals any more. Eventually, the Penzu owner did something which enabled me to pay - though Ive forgotten what. I could open my Journals but not on every device as before, and all my formatting was gone. One year has passed ... and again my credit card and PayPal accounts are again not recognised ... Ive sent 30 emails to the "support" without even ONE acknowledgment. No idea how this saga will continue.

Unless you are a pro subscriber theres really no reason to download this app. You cannot sync with the journals you have online without a pro subscription so this app becomes just another notepad app of which there are many, better alternatives. 2 stars for a mediocre, free notepad app.

Super simple and easy to use/navigate! Upgraded to Pro for only $19 for the year and now Ive got a wicked writing service on my laptop too!

This app is Fantastic! I love how it has its own password. Its great cuz i know that no one can read it except for me!

Im a pro account user, and I only use Penzu on my iPad. I write before going to sleep on my tablet. Surprisingly, none of the premium features are available on the App. I cant use rich text, none of the personal visual features are there (background, paper style), I cant insert a picture in the body of my posts, add tags, search, etc. So why am I paying for a Pro account or using Penzu? I might as well use Evernote for free, their App has more features as is. I also requested a feature a year ago, and the staff said its a popular request and is in the works. A year later, its still on the "to-do" list. Dont get me wrong, I love the idea and the online features, thats the reason I upgraded - and the staff is quick and polite with their responses. But they need to take a look at their users lifestyles, needs & competition, and accommodate and adapt - quickly.

Works great since day 1. Never had problem with it, I like how it had its own password. Its great for keeping notes and blogs, etc.

I love penzu! I love to write fan fiction when in in the car or Im board. I love that it has a password so people cant look at what you write! :3

Made a previous account on a laptop than tried to login with iPad but doesnt let me ....what do I do with this thing!!!!

I paid for a Penzu Pro account. It was great at first, but since IOS 6 came out, my account no longer syncs with the web. I contacted Penzu and they were quick to respond that it was a known issue related to iOS 6 that they were working to resolve and kindly offered me a free year. Since then, Ive updated my phone (thinking the problem was me running on iOS 5 platform and the app was running at 6) but still, whenever I try to sync my journal the app just crashes. There is literally no other way to get my entries off my phone (no PDF conversions, nothing) and Ive been using it as a pregnancy journal. Needless to say, Ill be really disappointed and upset if all my entries are unable to be uploaded and synced, and essentially lost for use. I hope Penzu truly IS working to resolve this, but its literally been months. Its a great app IF IT WORKED as I had paid for. As of right now, I would not recommend this app to anyone simply for its non functionality.

Been using the website for years, moved onto the app! Its everything you need in a diary. Great app!

I open the app, it goes to the opening red screen, stays there (literally) 2 seconds, crashes. I was even excited about this

Cant even type in a journal name

Terrible it does not back up any of your work unless youre planning to pay 20 bucks to back it up I suggest you find a different app!

It is great, just sync it between accounts and write stories from anywhere! Then just upload it via charging cord to your CPU, and boom! Perfect for any author willing to pay
