Super easy and convenient.

Love that I can tag my entries.

So Penzu has been my go-to journal application for almost half a year now. I have used journals and electronic journals before, but this is my first one that is online. The syncing works moderately consistently, but there are times where the program takes a while to save after copying in a sentence or two. Also, the app crashes when pressing the add photo button- probably just a version bug, but still. I dont want to have to put my photos on my computer just to put them into my journal. Plus, Penzu does not really seem optimized for photos at all. You cannot edit them, or move them easily. They go in a line, and do not have a function to wrap text. Penzu, get on that. I want to be able to use photos more. Also, please let gifs move. Thank you. You can use Penzu for free, and almost all of the functionality is there. You can get reminders even with free. In Pro though, these reminders can be set to custom times and you can change the cover of the journal to be anything you want, not limited by the few free choices that they have.

I have been using Penzu for a while now. I am so happy that there is finally an app for it that way I can write anytime anywhere all the time using my phone. Penzu app made things easier and write almost instantly anytime. Thank you Penzu this app is amazing!

Trust issues be dammed. I never used a journal because I figured someone would read it. This way I can use a password and who would hack me? Im not a celebrity! Typing is easy and I can write my great American novel. Or at least fragments thereof. Thanks Penzu.

I tend to bottle things up inside because I dont like telling people my problems and I dont like handwriting things so this app definitely helped me get everything out and just vent

I have been really enjoying writing with this tool. As soon as I am able to I will upgrade it to a paid version.

I love having this available to jot down my many thoughts. All I have to do is grab my mobile and type. The ability to save and come back later to finish is also useful. I solely use it on my mobile phone so I cant say much about syncing.

Super easy application, very nice and makes journaling a lot easier. It is a very simple journal, but I love it and it works great for just an application.

I have been using this for myself. I have one journal to keep memories about each of my 3 kids. I have 1 journal for a prayer diary. I love how easy it is. I add pictures. If you enter something the day or week after, you can still change the entry date to match the day of the event. You can even email into a specific journal so if you want to type it on a keyboard but not your phone, you can still do a long entry. A really worthwhile app!!

I keep record of all the great things that go on in my families life every year. This journal has been great!

This journaling tool has kept me a consistent journaler like nothing before it has been able to do. If youre interested in journaling, I recommend it highly. The phone app is also just as functional and easy to use as the web app I use at home. I highly recommend this.

Is very easy to use plus you could use it anytime on your phone

I use this app more so than the other journal apps for writing. I do not use it as a personal journal as some are doing; and, because of that I dont have any issues with the photos or GIFs. Other than that, it works well and gets the job done.

The free version is excellent and the Pro features seem worthwhile and well priced. If I keep up a writing habit Ill definitely purchase it.

So - this is a great app. Ive used Penzu and this app for about 5 years now and have gotten really comfortable in the environment. Would be a 5 star review except that the most recent update has a couple of bugs...first it seems really slow to load and to work in the app...everything (except typing) like the load journal screens, back out of journal screens...take like 4-5 seconds to work. Not forever, but annoying in an iOS environment that is usually more seamless. Also - the add photo button was causing crashes...and now it seems like the button is just not there anymore. So - it doesnt crash when you try to add a photo...but - you cant add a photo either. Still use it everday to journal. Just a couple of minor gripes.

I love this app. Easy to use, easy to set up multiple journals.
